#BrumCityDrive
Birmingham City Drive is a week of events, co-ordinated by iSE (Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs), designed to showcase the fantastic work social enterprises are doing across the City.
In 2015 and 2016 we had walks, talks, seminars, debates, workshops, a soup kitchen cook-in and history of philanthropy bike ride, all of which provided plenty of opportunity for everyone with an interest to experience and engage with social enterprise at first hand.
For 2018 we brought the biggest City Drive yet with over 17 different events culminating in a fantastic Social Enterprise Festival which in which we celebrated social enterprise in our city with over 60 different social enterprises and over 300 guests!
For 2019 we brought it bigger an better than ever, with 18 events and over 80 people attending a conference, 150 people attending a festival, 50 people attending our event with PWC and 100 people attending an ethical wedding fair. We will continue to try to build our sector and City Drive. Onwards to an even bigger and better 2020!
Each year through Birmingham City Drive we aim to encourage more people to:
- Buy from social enterprises
- Work for social enterprises
- Volunteer for social enterprises
- Invest in social enterprises
- Start social enterprises
