Have you noticed that the number of homeless people in Digbeth is increasing? iSE has and is keen to do something about it!
CAN YOU HELP?
During the first week of each month, starting in June 2016, iSE is asking people to donate items from a list of things that are really needed by the homeless people DSEQ member SIFA Fireside is supporting.
SIFA Fireside offers practical support such as daily drop ins, a resettlement service, a specialist support service, well-being and activity groups and an employment and training programme to homeless people affected by alcohol or are otherwise socially excluded. The aim is to improve their physical, social and mental well-being.
HERE’S WHAT TO DO:
- CAN YOU HELP US TO HELP OTHERS- and look through the list of clothing, food and toiletries that are needed – mostly for men.
- Take your donated items to iSE’s office in Digbeth – Avoca Court, 23 Moseley Road, Digbeth, Birmingham B12 0HJ – between 9am and 4pm, during the first week of each month.
- Start now! the first dates for drop off at iSE are Monday 6th June to Friday 10th June 2016.
